Catering to the requirements in the arid parts of the country, Nirmaan has been instrumental in creating infrastructure of 24X7 clean drinking water facilities within the reach of plebians since 2013.

Catering to the requirements in the arid parts of the country, Nirmaan has been instrumental in creating infrastructure of 24X7 clean drinking water facilities within the reach of plebians since 2013. While 14 hand pumps in 6 remote villages around our command areas of Burdwan District, West Bengal addressed growing water shortage of the locality, our Water ATM project came up as full-fledged drinking water solution for the urban slums, pavement-dwellers & thousands of pedestrians. In 2021-2022, 3 fully functional 500 LPH RO Water ATMs in Kolkata, 2 Free Water ATM units in Durgapur & one drinking water Kiosk in Nashik have been installed and around 25 more Water ATMs across the country are in pipeline to battle the water stress of the country. Additionally, a water purifier unit using cutting edge Reverse Osmosis technology has been set up in TrilokChandra Jariwala High School to ensure the students have daily access to safe & pure drinking water.
The Water ATMs have benefitted thousands of people across country recording drastic fall in water-borne diseases in the city slums, while more than 600 families from villages of Kuldiha, Sarenga, Palashboni, Sundiara, Rangre, Bhalukonda have adopted a healthier life style with consumption of clean water due to the Water & Sanitation project of Nirmaan.
