The B.D. Bangur Endowment was set up in 1995 in the memory of the late philanthropist and visionary, B.D. Bangur. The Trust's objective is furtherance of Charitable activities in the field of education, medicines, community service, social development and art and culture. The focus is to promote and foster the learning experiences. The endowment is committed to supporting growth through professional education with a concern for social and human values. This includes loan scholarships for higher studies abroad, renovating libraries and organizing medical camps.

In the field of education the objective of the trust is to help individuals who wish to pursue higher studies and gather specialized knowledge in their chosen field from the best of universities across the globe. In the field of visual arts the objective is to identify the best of talents across the country and assist them to be successful entrepreneurs by offering them the right medley of commercial and financial assistance.
